“Two weeks ' vacation between Friuli and Veneto”

Reviewed 8 Mar 2015

We stayed for two weeks from 03 February to 17 February 2015 in this charming single house in Pordenone town and had a fantastic time. Michela and Gianni were perfect hosts and made us very welcome. They provided us with recommendations and tips during this time and was more than willing to provide ongoing support throughout our trip. The house was warm, clean and tidy. It has been well maintained by it's owners and was filled with lots of little touches to make our stay easier. It was well located, within easy reach of the main attractions of the Friuli and Veneto regions. We liked very much , Internet WI-FI, the satellite tv in all the rooms and the private garden. We loved it here and would whole heartedly recommend staying here in the future!!! Orietta and Vinicio

“Impeccable single house.”

We are a family of five person and spent three enjoyable weeks in this impeccable and overly well-stocked the house. Our hosts, Michela and Gianni, definitely had the desire to make sure you were comfortable and oriented to your location and surrounding attractions. The home/town is centrally located where endpoints of interest are within a 1 1/2 hour drive, making day trips from the mountains, to the sea, or to other countries not only possible but very doable. Hanging out in Pordenone is also an option. It is a real town with real people. Morning markets on Wednesday and Saturdays mornings near the library allow for fun veggie and fruit purchases. You might even try sitting in the town square, also close to the library, in the late afternoon watching the locales do what locals do. All in all, the house, our hosts, and the location lent itself to a very positive experience. Italy is not a small country and needs to have it's regions explored individually. Trying to take in the entire country in a week will not do it justice. To say you've been to Italy because you spent a few days in Rome, Florence, and Venice will not give you a complete picture. Get off the highway and explore. That will give you a better sense of place.
