We stayed for about a week at Casa Gia and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautifully designed and very comfortable. There's a lovely multi-level garden with roses, fruit trees and berry bushes. You can enjoy your coffee or aperitif with an incredible view of Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands. The house is just minutes from Stresa by car, and an easy 10-minute walk to the Mottarone cable car and ferry terminal. For hikers or even casual walkers, there's a trail just steps from the driveway that connects with an extensive, well-marked network of trails that can take you up a mountain or to Stresa, Baveno or nearby villages. Highly recommended!
