SPECTACULAR WATERFRONT - Villa Miya - Lake Views

Great lake front property with breathtaking views of Lake Come and well equipped and maintained apartments. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Location is conveniently located between Como and Bellagio. The driveway to the private parking is an experience by itself.

Spent a week at Lake Como Beach Resort and had a great time. First time down driveway was an adventure to say the least but was fine once you get the hang of it! Owner Eric and his daughter could not have been more welcoming and helpful the day of our arrival.Mohamed the grouds keeper was charming and very helpful with the luggage which could be a chore. Would highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing visit to Lake Como area.

We are a family of 4, with children aged 10 and 12. To make the most of the lakeside position it's great, if like ours, your children make friends and want to swim and muck around off the jetty . The position is stunning; I'm so glad we were out of the bigger towns, yet close enough by boat and bus. No review would be complete without mention if the marvellous hosts Eric and Robina, their business thrives under their caring management.

Eric is super friendly and operates a very laid back, peaceful villa, private enough but with a nice communal atmosphere. The villa is right on the lake with a private shady lawn, sand-deck and a pier providing lake access. The villa was well decorated, clean and perfect for our family with young girls, a good kitchenette with all dishware and a nearby shop made cooking easy. Plenty of restaurants along the road. A common room is well stocked with books, movies and toys for the kids to play with. The villa is best accessed by ferry with a short, flat walk to the dock. Ample car parking is provided but the driveway down from the main road is for confident drivers only. There is a big height difference between the lake and carpark/road served by an elevator. Excellent location for lake activities, road cycling, close enough to Bellagio.

I really haven't much to say. We've been to Northern Italy several times before, but never visited the Como area. Our first stay in Pognana Lario was definitely a success, and we'll most likely be back next year.

Lake Como Beach Resort is right on the water with its own private boat dock. Rent a boat to tour the beautiful lake and Eric will arrange for a boat to pick you up and drop you off right at your front door steps (almost). Be sure to take the ferry to Bellagio for a fun filled day. You can take the elevator up the hill, and a small hike up to the grocery store, (be aware of the store hours before you go), and make sure you get the sausage kabobs to throw on the grill. Buy some wine and you'll be set for a great meal at a great place. We stayed for a week after being in Tuscany for two and really enjoyed, hanging out, swimming, eating lots of salami and cheese and drinking lots of wine in the most beautiful location. The pictures are a true representation of the beauty. You will be amazed. The view from the bedroom is incredible, the location is great and Robin, Eric and jiselle are awesome. What more could you want?

Arrived to this lovely quaint resort and have nothing to stay except, spectacular location, beautiful property and excellent facilities! What more is there to say? Tremendous holiday in the most beautiful spot on earth. Worth every penny and more ! Owners Robin and Eric were terrific hosts who could not do enough for us. Wow ! Can;t wait to return. Our favourite spot in all of the lakes area by far! Magnificent Views on the waterfront and of the entire lake! Our stay was a very happy and special time. We were all made to feel most welcome and Eric went out of his way to accommodate our needs. We will definitely be back!

My family and I have voted this as one of our best holidays ever. The position of the villa, right on the waters edge for swimming and relaxing as well as great hikes up into the mountains. The easy boat hire, and accessibility to the town of Como, and other lakeside sightseeing, and even clubbing at night by boat, made this a great holiday all around!
