The villa is in a good location with a nice view of the water. I never saw the actual villa we rented. There was a mix up & we ended up staying in Pietro's brother's villa next door. This villa was nearest to the water. Pietro's villa was a little further back. It was 3 bedroom, 2 bath. One bathroom had a tub. The villa was very roomy & clean. Wifi was a little hit & miss. Nesso is between Como & Bellagio so it was easy to get by bus to places & get on water transports. The only negative about the villa is that there are alot of steps getting down to it so those in not good shape would have difficulty navigating down. Getting heavy suitcases to the villa wasn't easy! I would stay here again.

A trip to Italy is usually fantasitc and on this journey (my third) we traveled to Northern Italy and stayed on Lake Como. This villa is located in Nesso, a sleepy village with just one hotel/restaurant, small chiesa (church), and less than 50 small to medium sized villas nestled in the hillside along the lake. This villa has contemporary appointments, lots of natural light, spacious rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and a wonderful terrace overlooking the lake. After touring the area all day and walking, walking, walking it was a delight to come "home" to our villa and sip cool glasses of wine while watching the boats go by. A special get-away that will be remembered for years to come.

My wife, baby and I stayed at this enchated place for the second time for three months. Halfway between Historic Como city and Belagio, it is the best value on Lake Como. Tyhe home is well appointed with everthing you need, including a modern kitchen and spacious bathrooms, a balconies from the bedroom and livingroom over looking the water, and the home is only a few steps from the lake. Five minute walk to the bus that will take you anywhere on the lake including the train stations in Como city, a car is not necessary. From Como, by train, it is easy to get to Switzerland, Germany, France(TGV) i.e. all of Europe, not to mention Milan, Venice, Florence and Roma. Pietro is a master chef, chevalier-de-taste-vin, guide golfer and an old friend. If get a chance to visit Como while they are there, he and Cathy will cook, entertain, guide and show you they best of Italy and the Lake. Arrangements are always very simple and friendly. The garden...The home...The view of the lake...For those of us who may not make it to heaven, go to Villa Pietro to see what it might be like!!!

Three couples stayed at Pietro's for 10 days and had a wonderful time. Lots to do just to travel about the lake and see the many towns. Also, by train to Venice or other cities close by. Just a great location to explore Northern Italy.

My family will always have beautiful memories of our stay at Villa Pietro de Santa Fe. This home has heavenly views of the lake and had all the ammenities that we needed. Very Spacious with a beautiful open balcony overlooking the lake. We also ate at a neighborhood restaurant called Tre Rosas which is just a short walk away. There is also a neighborhood grocery store a five minute walk away. The area is peaceful and is conveniently located between Como and Bellagio. We had such a lovely time and will definately return.

Arrived in Milan drove to Lake Como arrived in Nesso and stoped at Tre Rose Pizzaria called property manager 5 minutes away it was beatiful clean and plenty of room for parking big balcony big bathsrooms big bedrooms and lots of towels and linens store next door 5 minute walk and Tre Rose best salad,pasta,pizza is 5 minute walk this place is between Como and Bellagio there is even a bus C31 to travel around lots of things to see and do around Lake Como
