This lovely villa overlooking the lake in Tremezzo is well maintained and well equipped. A very short walk to restaurants, ferry, Villa Carlotta and next to the Grand Hotel Tremezzo makes the location ideal. We had a car and parking was available on site though somewhat of a challenge to navigate from the very narrow alleyway. The reason I did not give this an "excellent" is it was warm sleeping on those hot nights, especially in the upstairs back bedroom. A special mention needs to be made for the rental company, Happy Holidays. From the beginning inquiries through our stay, they were a pleasure to work with. With an international telephone number, it was easy to speak with them. The communication and information about the villa, booking process and things to see and do were excellent. We drove to the agency which is on a busy street in Menaggio to check in. One of the staff drove with us to the villa (10 minutes away) to be sure we were settled. They were also very helpful in assisting us in getting our luggage that did not make the plane from our connection in Paris and attentive with our requests.
