Well equipped warm house in walking distance of kaprun, the only negative was finding the Property at night,directions un clear.

Visited with family including 2 kids aged 9 and 5. Firstly the area is great, stunning (think Sound of Music) with really lots to do - we scratched the surface really in 10 days. Secondly the house is perfect. Good location, 10 mins from Kaprun centre and with a supermarket about 2 minutes away. As the owners leave many of their things out for use it feels very homely and comfortable. There is a really well equipped kitchen, both supplies (oil, herbs, spices etc) as well as equipment (we had a lovely fondue one night!). Also, with the supermarket so close you do not feel you have to overplan meals. The house is very spacious and that helps make it very relaxed overall. Garage great for bike storage and parking easy. So we had a great time and I'd recommend a summer visit!

We stayed at KitzView in March 2015 and had a great time! Why? - The place is large and has four bedrooms which makes it easy for a mixed group of friends & couples to divide rooms/beds - The house has a well stocked kitchen so you can cook whatever you like for large groups - The house is new and clean and the outdoor area at the front is nice (great view) - There are two parking spots included - It's only 10min drive to the glacier and less to the Maiskogel (Zell am See is about 15min) - Ski bus stop, Super market & ski rental are a 2 min walk away - Centre of town is about 15min walk We would book it again for sure!

It was lovely to have a private home with all the conveniences. Very close to everything one needs for a ski vacation. Near supermarket, restaurants, ski bus, ski slopes, the village with children's ski facilities and very convenient that we could use all the ski attributes in the house. We stayed there with 4 adults and 4 small children, therefor as well affordable and nice to have a spacious home to come back to after a days outdoor fun and able to relax in the evening.

Along with a group of friends we have returned to Kitz View 6 or 7 times in the last 9 years The house is immaculately maintained and clearly built to an owners specification with unusually generous room sizes (unlike the tiny bedrooms the French offer!) We like the location because we can easily access a number of resorts within a 30 min drive such as Saalbach Hinterglemm, Kitzbulel, Zell, Maria Alm. The Kitzsteinhorn glacier is only a 5 minute drive The property is a 5 minute walk from the centre of Kaprun itself which offers great bars and restaurants at reasonable prices

Had a great week here, spacious, warm, modern house that was well furnished and just a few minutes walk from the bars and restaurants. There is a super little supermarket a minute away that we got all we needed from including fresh bread every day. There is great skiing locally in Zell-am-See or on the Kitzsteinhorn but those who have big appetite for skiing I would recommend hiring a car because within 30 minutes you can ski a different resort every day including Kitzbuhel and Saalbach. I would recommend the little known resort of Maria Alm which is a hidden gem. We ate out every lunchtime and most evenings and the food is always good and well priced and I certainly won't be going back to France. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

We booked the house for a ski holiday in Kaprun for two families (4 adults and 3 kids aged 12,10 and 7)Having stayed in Kaprun on two previous occasions we knew the area well and decided that we preferred the freedom of a self catered house.The photos looked great and the description seemed to be perfect for us so we booked through the owner who was very accomodating and friendly with us from the start.On arrival we were so pleased that the apartment was even better than described!!! It was perfect and contained everything that you could possibly need from the ski drying room to fantastic bedrooms. The view from the lounge to the glacier is fantastic too and we honestly have absolutely nothing negative to say.We will return to Kaprun again and this will be our number 1 accomodation choice. The bus stop is a two minute walk away and it runs every few minutes to both the glacier ,zell am see and kaprun centre.The supermarket is also a two minute walk and stocks everythng you could need including cheap mulled wine!!!!!!! The skiing was fantastic with queue free lifts and the prices of food and drinks on the mountain were good too compared to last years trip to France. overall we wont stay anywhere else when were in the area its just perfect!!! Modern well appointed property with great views located 5 minutes walk from town and 2 minutes from a well stocked supermarket Restaurants close by and garden equipped for eating al fresco Plenty to do in the area and Salzburg card good value Would love to return in the winter

We are a family of 4 - one 2 yr old and one 7 yr old, along with mum and dad! For this holiday we also took Gran too. This home, not house, was perfect for us! Very clean and laid out perfectly for a family holiday - open plan living area but plenty of bedrooms. The home has a kitchen which has all the mod cons you'd expect at home and is a welcome surprise on holiday! Kaprun itself is small but adequate - it has all the basics you need. It is wonderfully positioned to explore Salzburgerland - an amazing area full of fabulous things to do as a family. The home has lots of information to help plan your holiday, plus tips from previous guests. The area is outstanding as an area of beauty and will stay as one of our best family holiday ever! We will be back and we will stay at Kitzview!

This house is spacious, and can accommodate 6 adults and 4 children very comfortably. The kitchen is remarkably well equipped, the beds are very comfortable, and there is plenty of room to relax. There is a good supply of books and films, and a wide range of games and films for children. The local Billa supermarket is out of sight but only 3 minutes walk away, and provides a very wide range of food and drink and all the other household items you might need. There are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance in Kaprun, as well as other supermarkets and shops. There are bus stops within two or three hundred metres of the house, very useful in the ski-ing season but also in the summer for travelling to surrounding areas. There are so many beautiful places to see in the local countryside, and pleasant walks in abundance. Altogether an excellent base for a relaxing, happy holiday.
