“Fantastic lake view”

Reviewed 19 Sep 2017

The owner, Mariagrazia, was very helpful with our booking and she met us from the train and took us to the villa in her car. That was an extra treat she provided free. She was at all times helpful and friendly. She is well experienced and been doing B&B for many years. Our en suite room, the Green Room, overlooked the lake Orta where birds and boats came and went. The patio where she gave us great breakfasts (available up to 10am.) had the same glorious view. It is about 100 yards walk down to the public lakeside where we swam in the clean clear lake waters. (Villa Pinin doesn't have a swimming pool.) It is an easy 20 minute walk from the villa to Orta San Guilio, the period village where there are plenty of cafés, restaurants, two food shops, two Tabacs, a cash machine and interesting things to see. Mariagrazia lives on the premises but didn't interfere with us. We could use the sitting room, patio and garden as we wished. A set of keys ensured we could come and go as we liked. We are too old to come again, but we would highly recommend Villa Pinin to our friends and family. It is popular so you must book early for the high season.

Response from the owner Thanks Antony, thank you for the wonderful review, i was glad to have had you as guests you are kind and discreet people. I'm glad you enjoyed Villa Pinin and enjoyed the area But it put a bit of sadness on the last sentence of the review "we're too old to come back." I wish you all the best wishes and although you are not very young you are very dynamic to continue so ' Greetings to all Mariagrazia
