We have just returned from a fabulous family holiday in this amazing villa. It is situated in a truly a beautiful spot in the Var and has every facility you could possibly wish for. We were all bowled over by the setting it is so quiet and peaceful yet within easy reach of every amenity you might need or want to visit.
On arrival, we found the villa was spotlessly clean with every facility one could possibly need. We had four children ages ranging from four to eleven. The copious amount of toys were just amazing and our two smallest little girls, they had the most wonderful time playing with them all. The kitchen was very well equipped and this coupled with the barbeque made providing meals effortless, even for ten of us! Normally we would dine out a few evenings during our holiday at local restaurants but we cancelled our bookings because the villa was so idyllic for our family, after dinner the children were able to entertain themselves in the grounds, in the house or mainly on the trampoline whilst the adults enjoyed the wonderfully balmy evenings relaxing on the terrace.
The house is indeed very spacious and our group of tenseemed lost in it. The sitting room is very comfortable and well appointed with every device needed. Although, only the children used this area to watch a DVD in the early mornings, the adults always gravitated to the wonderful outside terrace to enjoy the amazing views, read, use the Internet or enjoy long chats accompanied by the obligatory glass of liquid refreshment from the local vineyards. All the bedrooms are very well appointed with reading lamps and plenty of hanging space. The mattresses, bed linen and towels were all of very good quality and the configuration of bathrooms and on suites worked very well for our large group. The villa also has a hair dryer if one needs one.
The pool is large and totally fantastic with enough good quality sun beds for all and plenty of umbrellas to shade you from the mid day sun. The two little girls were non-swimmers when we arrived but by the end of day one they were launching themselves of the steps of the pool with the aid of' Pool Noodles,' some of which were provided so they older children had ones to play with too. Having graduated steps into the pool was super, particularly for the younger children and the adults who like to gently launch themselves into the water! The safety fence around the pool was excellent and the mechanism on the gate excluded any unwanted access to the pool. The trampoline was just fantastic, when the children were taking a breather from the pool they enjoyed using up their boundless energy honing their trampoline skills or just using it as a place to 'hang out' away from the adults. This coupled with the amazing grounds had all the children saying 'this was the best holiday ever!' Of course, if the children are happy and entertained the adults totally relax and the only sad thing is the holiday was over far too quickly.
Jonathan was super to deal with, any query we had, resulting mainly because we had not read the information provided properly, he instantly responded with all the answers and additional help. Nothing was ever too much trouble he was so helpful and diligent. Our week in the Var was, and we reiterate the children’s opinion, ‘totally brilliant and the best holiday ever,’ and we have rebooked for 2015
