“Superb views, location and layout for an extended family holiday”
Just spent two weeks at Villa Lago Blue (that seems to go under many different names) with three generations of family from two continents and had a thoroughly relaxing time. We spent 99% of our time outdoors which the house is best suited for as the indoor spaces are a little overwhelming in their complexity and ornate decoration. The large terrace table overlooking the pool and lake was perfect for all meals (except the BBQ needs replacing) and the variety of sloping lawns gave us great options for before-dinner games of boules. The lake isn't great for swimming (limited access) but the pool (though over chlorinated) was large and warm. The 10 min walk into town via the steps to the Marina provided easy access to waterfront pizzerias, after dinner gelato, the Coop supermarket and the ferries. If you have a variety of ages and interests in your party this is a great place with something for all.
