“Looks better on trip advisor than it does in the flesh”

Ok, lets get the tough stuff out of the way first. There are ants in the kitchen, mites and a leak in the roof of one of the bedrooms (2nd floor - left), there is a cat in residence (which we weren't informed off), the parasol is broken and the pontoon needs some work done on it, so, some general wear and tear which isn't being dealt with plus, on arrival, there was a dank, musty smell to the villa. Note that there are in the region of 174 steps down to or up from the Villa to the main road - so don't book this if none of you are reasonably fit. There is only one on suite, with the other three rooms having to share a superb sized bathroom. Also worth noting that most of the rooms and cupboards still have lots of the owners clothes, drinks, paperwork etc. On the up side, the Villa is spacious with, in general, all mod cons, including sky+, microwave/grill, dishwasher etc, wi-fi was operational and it has stunning views across the Lake, even when it rains, a handy pontoon if (like us) you decide to rent a boat - which makes getting food etc. much easier
