“Wow! Truly Exceptional Experience in Every Way!”

As an an architect, I was excited to see this house from the moment i saw the photos. And seeing it in person did not disappoint. The architectural detailing is beautifully done. The site is beautiful. The views of the lake and the mountains were surreal. The furnishings and artwork were beautifully apppointed. It was the last stop of our two week Italian vacation and it truly was the highlight of our trip. Erika, the owner, as well as her assistant, Christina, were incredibly nice and accomodating to our every request. Christina even rushed my wife's purse (with our passports) to the Milan airport after we foolishly left it at the house. What service! Erika also set up a private chef for our last night in Italy. Totally recommend this experience. The chef's name is Giovanni. Erika's husband, Enzo, even took the time to give my family a tour of their hometown across the lake - a beautiful town named Cernobbio. (Take the water taxi across the lake). Overall an amazing and exceptional experience. Frankly, i can't believe that a house of this quality is available on the rental market. We will be back!

“Beautiful house and great views”

Absolutely beautiful house. Great views and charming location. House is very well done and comfortable. Note that getting to the house is a steep climb up hill with a car and then a hard climb up a walk way to the house. Might be hard on elderly people. Also, house is listed for 8 person but you need to pay extra for any person over 4? Didn't understand exactly why? Otherwise, all good owners and great experience.

Thank you also for having written about the climb to reach the house as this permits me to explain it better. To be honest, I had several guests in the eighties , in good shape, who spent their holiday at my house without any problem. At the same time, a young person who has a disability in walking should not book my property. That is why in the description I have underlined that Villa Torno is not the appropriate location for people having such kind of disability, because of the ramp. Concerning the price, the house is indeed listed for 8 person, which is the max capacity. I have applied a base price for up to 4 persons, and I require an extra for any person over 4 and up to 8. More towels/ bed linens to be cleaned, more costs of utilities, I do not feel correct to apply the same price having 4 people or 6 people or 8 people who use the bio sauna, the softub, , etc. That is why.
