I almost cancelled my trip having read the previous reviews. I am so glad I did not and the only reason I did not was when I spoke to the host she put my mind at ease and said that if I wanted to cancel she would waive any cancellation fees and give me a full refund. I thought if that was her attitude she was honest enough for me to believe and that turned out to be exactly what the case was. The property was first class and had every modern convenience available. If you had to rate it on an equivalent basis to a hotel it would be a 5-star. The pool was simply exquisite, the landscaped gardens around the property beautiful, and the hosts simply wonderful and willing to go out of their way to help and be of assistance. They even were thoughtful enough to have some basic food items (plus champagne) waiting for us on arrival. The previous review criticizing the property for quite unfair we thought. Yes many of the flats were not occupied as it is a relatively new development but that simply meant we had the pool and wonderful jacuzzi almost to ourselves. You definitely need a car though as the property is located on a hill and if you want to be mobile the car helps - though the town is totally within walking distance though you probably do not want to do that when you are coming back up the hill. I had a 5- and a 3-year old and they simply loved their vacation. The flat itself was modern and quite stunning. We experienced no issues with any of the electrics. If I had one complaint it would only be that the internet service was not great. But that was it. Otherwise simply a wonderful stay and highly recommended.

We arrived in the complex to discover that the majority of apartments were not fitted out and that it was very much still a work in progress. It would appear that this developments has been a casualty of the economic downturn. The apartment we were in was very comfortable and the pool area had been finished but the rest was very over grown and there was no one attempting to cut back the shrubs and vines that were growing out into the walk ways. It is not an apartment that would be suitable for a family with small children as there is no where for them to play as it is basically still a building site. We were instructed when the company representative was showing us the property not to have two heavy electrical appliance on at the same time. I was cooking the dinner the first night with the oven on and put on the washing machine at the same time and the electric fused. This is really not acceptable from a property of this supposed high standard. I am writing this so that any one else looking at the property gets a true reflection of the development and I stand over everything I have written here as fact. I feel it was very remiss of the company we rented from not to make us aware of these fact s when we were making the booking with them back in febuary of this year. Other wise it is an approx 20 minute walk down into the town and although some may find it difficult it was a really good work out for you a couple of times a day. W had then a short walk 10 min walk to the ferry stop and used the ferries to got to the various villages along the lake shore. As I have already stated the apartment itself was very comfortable with A/C and wifi available but it was the state of the surroundings that really let it down.
