Villa dei Fiori - Luxury apt, Lake view and garden

This property exceeds expectations in almost every way. It is situated just outside of Bellagio in a beautiful village a short, but strenuous walk to town. The house has a lovely lake view and is very attractive and comfortable. It was immaculately clean and having a cleaning person stop in daily was a really nice plus. Luca could not have been nicer. One senses that the comfort of his guests is extremely important to him. The house is so thoughtfully stocked with food basics, beer, wine, and coffee, as well as toiletries. We appreciated his restaurant recommendations as well as the abundant tourists brochures he provides. Staying here is like staying at the most luxurious of hotels, but with much more space and at a fraction of the cost.

My friends and I had the priviledge of spending the 3rd week of September 2013 in Bellagio at the Villa dei Fiori. Our charming and friendly hosts, Mary and Luca, dropped by to ensure we were settled in, then left us to enjoy the beautiful villa and its surroundings. The villa was beautiful to look at, comfortably furnished, supplied with all the essentials-and even a few extras. We could not have been more satisfied with these accommodations.

We were two couples in our 60's wanting a great self contained villa,with great views, close to amenities, but not in amongst the crowds. Villa dei Fiori, surpassed all of our expectations. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two reception rooms, a great kitchen, a balcony and an outdoor area 'to die for'. Luca and Mary, were gracious hosts, generous with the food and drink, which we did not expect, for your arrival. We liked the property, because it felt like a home. The location and views were perfect for what we wanted.

The Villa dei Fiori is located in the quaint fishing village of Pescallo on the shores of Lake Como. The view of the lake and mountains is stunning and the villa's terrace is a lovely place to have coffee in the morning or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Just a short walk down cobbled streets takes you to the nearby shops and restaurants of Bellagio. The villa is very comfortable and well-appointed with every convenience for a family or several couples traveling together. The home is a lovely mix of modern amenities and interesting collectibles. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and for breakfast Luca provided biscuits, jam, honey, tea, coffee, fruit and eggs. Fresh towels and maid service are provided daily. There is also free Wi-fi and ample parking space inside the gated grounds. Meeting Luca was a pleasure; his hospitality and attention to detail made our stay perfect in every way. You will not be disappointed. At the Villa dei Fiori you will enjoy the tranquility of Pescallo and the convenience of Bellagio. We can't wait to return.

I got married in Bellagio, and me and my wedding party stayed here (6 adults total), and we never wanted to leave! I have done this type of rental many times before, and never have I found a place so much better than advertised. The rental unit itself very well designed and maintained. Everything was very clean and modern and beautiful. And the rental was really well stocked - they had some food and a couple bottles of wine waiting for us! And the views - oh man the views! It's like a postcard out your window. The walk to the ferries is about 10 minutes there, 15 minutes back (because it's uphill), but most of that walk is through town, so it doesn't feel that long. I really liked being on the Pescallo side of the peninsula - it's so peaceful. Also, the owner was super nice! Thank you so much Luca and Mary for making my wedding week so special - we hope to be back one day!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Mary & Luca's place. The house is amazing, well furnished and decorated, a personal note...I've never sleep so well, I would've take the mattress home with me:) The location is great, in a very quite side of Bellagio but only 5 minutes walk to the center. Wonderfull vacation in a marvellous place...we plan to return in October for more relaxing and funny days.
