“Mansion is the correct word!! Large, High End, Fabulous Location and View!”
I honestly was a little apprehensive about this place due to limited reviews. The pictures and the price do not do this place justice. It would be a Incredible deal at twice the price. The view over the lake and mountains is great! Our group of 3 couples and one single were very comfortable. This is a private home on a private dead end street. Parking right at the front door. The Owners were great at offering suggestions for dinner, directions, help with translations, etc. They let us use their bikes, and even invited us to share dinner and wine with them one night. We have stayed in over 20 different houses over the years, and this "Mansion" would have to be our #1 choice out of all of them. Change your dates to accommodate their schedule. The only thing that we missed out on was taking a boat ride with the Owners on their lard boat, docked right out from their front door. The walk to the train station was very short, and their location in Horgen was perfect to jump onto Zurich, Luzern, and all of the other places in the area. All just a few minutes away. Have fun and book this today!
