We stayed in this wonderful paradise for a week in July. It was truly spectacular! The lake, the small villages dotting the waterfront, everything was perfect! The villa is appointed and laid out perfectly. The views were magnificent and the kitchen was a cook's dream. We drove to the villa and never used the car again. We boated everywhere, from one end of the lake to the other. If you want the perfect relaxing vacation, this is the place!

Had the most amazing time at Lake Orta Villa "Boomerang". We traveled with our young daughter (<1 year) and we all had a wonderful time. The Villa is luxurious and just simply divine. Cant recommend this place enough!!!

Villa Boomerang is second to none for a romantic trip in Northern Italy. The location is out of this world, the house has everything you need to feel at home. Above all, Anric and Danila (the lady who takes care of us on premises) are taking every step to make your stay memorable. Yves and Sylvie from Montreal

First of all the property is very comfortable, it has some of the loveliest views and swimming in the lake off the dock was a huge pleasure. The kitchen is very well equipped and good to use. However, whilst I might recommend this rental to friends, I would want them and other potential renters be aware of some quirks: - 2 spiral staircases and an open tread internal glass staircase (with no side protection on the one side and a sharp corner on the bottom tread) make it less suitable for older or very young guests - No working wifi - One of the four bedrooms is only accessible from outside and was very damp, so the ceiling paint was peeling off and a dehumidifier needed to be emptied twice a day. - The third bedroom in the house has 4 bunk beds so is less suitable for a couple and better suited to children - Parking is challenging and, although we managed to squeeze 3 small cars into the off road parking with difficulty, it really only works for two cars as manoeuvring on and off a narrow strip next to a fast road is interesting - The house is very close to a railway line and the trains run all night. The noise was partially blocked by keeping the bedroom windows on the upper floor closed. - Take umbrellas - it rained whist we were there and once through the front door you have to negotiate external spiral stairs to get into the body of the house and although there are umbrellas there they never seemed to be enough of them in the right place when you needed them, especially for the couple in the outside bedroom. - There aren't enough chairs for the dining table so you have to find other chairs around the house if there are more than 6 guests at the same time. - The top of the barbecue didn't feel very stable and was not really big enough for cooking for more than about 6 people - The coffee maker was a bit temperamental - The TV screen in the main bedroom is only for DVDs - it is not a television. - The picture window doors are quite difficult to handle and not easy to close. There is a trick to dealing with them that needs explaining to everyone.

Es war eine perfekte Urlaubswoche in Anric`s wunderschöner Ferienvilla. Ankommen, auspacken, wohlfühlen. Der Empfang durch Danila war wunderbar herzlich und sehr gastfreundlich (mit Erstaustattung Kaffe / Wasser / Toilettenpapier) Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist in jeder Hinsicht geschmackvoll, hochwertig und liebevoll zusammengestellt. Es fehlt nichts. Zur lakeside raumhohe Glasschiebetüren auf allen drei Etagen, von jeden Raum aus, Blick auf den See. Der See ist der Hammer... Trinkwasserqualität und wenig los. Wir hatten für diese Woche auch Anric`s Boot gemietet. Am Steg direkt vor dem Haus festgemacht. Wir sind Wasserski gefahren, sind mit den Luftmatratzen auf den See hinaus geschwommen, haben mit dem Boot das Umfeld erkundet und sind damit ins Restaurant gefahren. Für Ausflüge in die Berge war die Zeit zu kurz. Und es war einfach zu warm... Alles Bestens und sehr zu empfehlen für eine entspannte Urlaubszeit mit oder ohne Familie :-)

The Villa Boomerang is simply a fantastic base camp in order to enjoy the Westerly Italian lakes. The challenge is, the villa is so nice, you feel guilty about going out and enjoying the nearby towns such as Giulio San Orta or Puttinesca (sp)! Every possible amenity is available, from a luxurious kitchen / living area, 4 very nice bedrooms, outdoor patio space and a lower-level entertainment room – featuring a deck to the lake and Jacuzzi. From here you can use the kayaks, or swim to the floating island on the lake, or simply sit on the provided lounge chairs, soak up the sun and sip on some wine. The owner, Anric – couldn’t be more accommodating, reaching out before you arrive and offering advice (and assistance) for your time in Lake Orta. However, a very special mention has to be made in relation to Danila, who is the villa manager / caretaker. She is probably the most helpful person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting – nothing was too much for her – from organizing taxis, helping with trips to the town, finding a seamstress, everything! She made our trip truly wonderful. To sum up our time at the villa, we would sit on the floating island, feet in the lake, enjoying the calm water, whilst sipping on a cool, refreshing drink. Everybody in our group commented that it was one of the best trips they had taken – and we fully agree. Relax, forget about the everyday and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Pros: - Great location, right on the lake with stunning views - A villa that offers everything anybody could want for a home-away-from-home stay - Danila! Incredible service, support and advice Cons: - Parking can be a challenge, due to a busy road – but certainly manageable

My girlfriend and I stayed with friends at Villa Boomerang for 4 fantastic nights in late May 2014. We woke up late, swam from the deck during the afternoon and relaxed in the Jacuzzi during the evening as the sun set over lake Orta and it's surrounding mountains. The villa was fitted out with everything we needed to dine in and hide away from the world for a few days. When we did chose to head we enjoyed being just minutes by boat from pizza in Pella or dinner in the beautiful Italian town of Orta San Guilio. I can't wait to go back!

Breath-taking, exquisite, sublime. We stayed at the villa in early June, just as the lake was warming up enough for a swim, and every day was like a dream. Perched on the lake, the location is amazing. From every window you look straight out over the water towards the mountains. Sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine watching the sunset cast shadows through the mountains will remain as one of the most beautiful memories. The villa is perfectly equipped for anything from a few days to a long summer holiday.

I have stayed at this villa many times over the past few years and it consistently ranks as one of my most relaxing vacations. The Villa, over 3 levels hangs directly over the crystal clear water and is extremely well appointed with every possibly luxury. Completely private and secure - with one of the best waterfront accesses on the lake, every day is a gift at the Villa Boomerang.
