If a ski holiday in the French Alps is on your itinerary, have you thought about the accommodations? You want them to be close to the best slopes and pistes, but you may also wish for them to be luxurious and private. This may be a challenge to meet, yet the stunning Chalet Alaska may be precisely what you need. An authentic Alpine chalet, it is close to the piste at Pralong in the Courchevel 1850 area.
With five bedrooms, it is spacious and welcoming, and it offers a truly staggering array of premium amenities on the premises. At the lowest level of the multi-story chalet you find a large, indoor swimming pool with a hammam and sauna nearby. On the next level is the main living area and most visitors are stunned by the charm and colorful setting it offers.
The great room is a dream in blonde wood beams, floors and walls that are balanced nicely by the bold hues of the furnishings. A large living room surrounds the fireplace, and a TV area is a cozy spot where kids love to cuddle up after hours. There is a dining room adjacent to the kitchen, and the kitchen itself is a delight of color and function. Equipped with the latest equipment, it makes meal prep a breeze. There is a mezzanine level above and it all looks out to the gorgeous terrace views.
Divided between the ground and main levels, the five bedrooms include a master suite with dressing room, private terrace and enormous bath with Jacuzzi tub. There are two other king suites on this level, and one opens to the terrace while both are ensuite. The ground floor suites include a children's bunk room and a king suite. All of the baths are supplied with Occitane toiletries.
Designed for luxury, the Chalet Alaska is also an ideal option for families and large groups. It can be booked with its companion chalet, the Chalet Anchorage.
Rates includes: Welcome with Champagne, fresh flowers, Occitane products, 3 hours housekeeping service daily, all utilities (electricity, water, wood, heating), local taxes and welcome and assistance. Extra cost: End of stay service at 500 EUR to be paid locally.

Chalet Alaska is a beautiful chalet, built in old wood, the chalet has an authentic Alpine feel. It is superbly located close to the Pralong piste, with spacious terraces and stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
This luxury chalet sleeps 10 adults and 2 children in five en-suite bedrooms which are all individual in style and character. The master bedroom has a king size bed and Jacuzzi bath and one of the bedrooms has two additional bunk beds, ideal for children.
This chalet has a well-equipped wellness area with a private swimming pool, hammam and sauna which are perfect for relaxing after a hard day's skiing. The large lounge with open log fire and dining room are both open plan, enabling the seamless transition from gourmet dinner to relaxing on the sofa in the evening. Families with children love the TV snug up on the mezzanine gallery overlooking the lounge.
Chalet Alaska can be booked with its' sister chalet Anchorage for larger groups of up to 22 guests, great for bigger families.
